Why Photovoltaic?

Today, solar-generated electricity serves people living in the most remote areas on the planet as well as in the other cities and townships. First used in space technology, photovoltaic (PV) systems are now available to the common man and industries alike, both for generating electricity to pump water, light up the street, turning switches, charging batteries, supplying electricity back to the grid, and a lot more. Now, whether you are a homeowner, farmer, architect, industrialist or just someone who pays electric utility bills, PV systems can already benefit your life in some way.

Benefits of Solar PV

>> Domestic and Industrial Solar PV system

For domestic as well as the industrial sector, power is required for different needs on a regular and continuous basis.  And in this space, Mangla, provides services from the design of solar PV system to installation process of the system. We assist our clients in solarizing their property with proper consideration on their requirements and as well their budget planning for the projects.

>>On Grid Systems

On Grid/ Grid tied Solar PV systems is the most popular solar solution to support the household and commercial sector. This system works in integration with the power grid. A new energy meter called Net meter which has a special metering and billing agreement between utilities and their customers, facilitates the connection of small, renewable energy-generating systems to the power grid. Net metering can increase the energy in the power grid to keep up with demands during peak times, which is of particular interest to states facing power shortages. The meter can measure the flow of electricity in two directions. It measures how much energy comes from your electric company versus the renewable generator’s electricity production.

Key Features

  • Minimal Maintenance
  • Cost of the System recovered in 5 years
  • Net Metering Income
  • Subsidy Support

>> Off Grid Systems

When utility power is too expensive or is inaccessible for remote localities of the nation, stand alone or off grid systems comes into scenario and takes in the role of utility for powering the rural households and industries. It relies on batteries to store the electricity generated by the solar panels for use when the system is not generating enough to sustain household functions, during night hours.

Key Features

  • The off grid concept helps to electrifies the rural and remote household community
  • Creates Energy Independence

>> Solar Pump

Solar Pump draws power from solar cell / modules to operate a motor pump set. The energy efficient motor pump sets to achieve higher discharge which off sets the high initial cost. A solar PV water pumping system consists of a number of solar PV modules connected in series – parallel combination to generate sufficient power to operate a motor pump. The solar PV modules are mounted on a metal frame in a manner that the mounting frame can be turned / tilted to ensure that the modules keep facing the sun throughout the day. The system does not have any storage battery since power generated is used directly then and there. The pumping system can draw water from the open well / bore well or stream / pond or canal. It is mainly used for water pumping applications in household, agricultural farm lands, etc.

Solar Street Lights

Recent technological breakthrough have paved the way to rebirth of street light energized by the radiant power. It is a raised outdoor light source powered by Photovoltaic (PV) Panel. The panel is mounted on a pole structure, with an LED or fluorescent light, rechargeable battery and charge controller.

Key features:

  • Minimal Maintenance and Initial Investment
  • Rechargeable Battery
  • Longer Life
  • Energy Efficient Technology
